Pressure treating is the process of compacting the timber with preservative, this creates a tough and long lasting panel that requires less maintenance than timber that has been dip treated.

The walls of this wooden building have been built using 12mm thick tongue and groove cladding; the interlocking nature of tongue and groove cladding results in a robust panel that prevents water ingress. The floor and roof have been made from 9mm thick solid sheet board, this is ideal for every day general use. A thick 1” x 1” wooden frame offers robust support for the walls, floor and roof to attach to and has been designed to withstand harsh weather.

A traditional pent roof offers plenty of head room inside that is ideal for customers who want to install standing shelves; the pent roof also offers an efficient water-run off that helps defend the roof against wood rot. High quality mineral felt is supplied to add further protection against adverse weather conditions. Shatterproof styrene glazed windows let natural light flood into the interior, making this wooden shed perfect for DIY enthusiasts who want a bright and airy space to work in. Double doors offer easy access to the inside and have been fitted with ‘Z’ shaped framing to add further support.

Delivery days:

Courier will call/email to agree a delivery day between Monday to Friday 7am-7pm. So as not to delay delivery customer should supply a valid daytime contact number at time of order.

How it arrives:

Delivery is Kerbside only and your property must be accessible to a 25ft lorry (similar size to a fire engine) and parking available within six metres (20ft).

Product is supplied flat packed complete with comprehensive instructions for self-assembly. Assembly is available as an optional extra.

Acceptance of delivery:

Customers must be available to check and sign for the delivery except when Direct Garden Buildings have received written confirmation the item can be left without a customer signature.
